What a wild and brutal story! In West Indonesia this weekend an angry, bloodthirsty mob of people stormed the property of a business man who apparently owns a building with a private lake that is infested with Crocodiles. The private lake is home to hundreds and hundreds of crocs and when local villagers “suspected “ a croc from the lake had eaten a villager, they went on a rampage with shovels, picks, rope and pipes.
The villagers mostly likely had close run ins with crocs in the past near this area. I’m sure they brought this to the property owners attention that it was out of control and pleaded for him to do something to make the town safer. I’m sure those requests fell on deaf ears and when something serious like a death inevitably happened they snapped.
Rage of loosing a friend or family member can be extremely dangerous when it comes to something like this. These people must have had anger to the maximum level to do something like this.
Eye witness villagers on the scene say there were approximately 300 crocs massacred after being dragged out of the lake. I’m sure there are still plenty more but let’s be honest, if they killed 300 that easy and that fast, there obviously was a serious issue given the lakes close proximity to hundreds of villagers.

That is one crazy story. Surprised they didnt just throw poison in the lake. I would be scared of a mob that kills 300 alligators. That is not a neighborhood that is a militia.

Am quite surprised that people are more upset by the death of the crocs than by the fact that someone was earlier killed by these crocs and the neighborhood is living in fear which is what drove them to take the drastic action that they took. they were provoked and pushed to the extreme and they reacted. i love animals but i love humans first. i will consider the safety of a human than any animal. And i will expect any rational person to think like that too.
Agreed! I can't/won't judge. I don't live there but I can tell you this the protection of my family over rides any law or other person's idea of what they think is right or wrong. It's an inherent right. Don't believe me go try to play with a wild bear cub.

This is such a bad news.if crocodiles were harming anyone they could move to any other place .if they were in large number then protectin wall could have been built.this have been a risky step for those people but the step they took is very sad.i think their government should take action.this is such a sad incident.

Killing of 300 Crocodiles is huge that means the lake is filled with crocus and reptiles I believe what they did was to safeguard their neighbourhood from death at the hands of crocodiles. It was a brave move by the neighbourhood
This is sosad . Its true that, it is very dangerous animal for human but it is our wealth. Quantity of 300 crocodiles are very much. Administration should take action. Its not good. if they killed 300 that easy then chance of many more.
