China attacks again: more control, more bans
According to a report by Financial News and a publication affiliated with the People’s Bank of China, government officials are working to more strictly regulate the cryptographic space.
China aims to block all websites, both domestic and foreign, related to the cryptocurrency trade and initial currency offers (ICO) in what could be the country’s final offensive in the industry. Regulators in China allegedly expressed dissatisfaction with current measures that restrict trading at domestic exchange sites, and made the decision to also block foreign sites to counter “financial risks“.
