Birdchain Token Statistics
It has been over 3 weeks since we have completed our Token Sale with an overwhelming support from our partners and community.
We have raised 2 763 ETH supported by 3 688 contributors and 600 ETH from our corporate partners. Total number of tokens distributed 287,504,830 BIRDs.
In this blog post, we want to share a set of statistics behind our post-token sale.
Token Distribution Statistics:
Nearly all of the tokens are in the hands of the community. The team and founders were awarded a very small amount and that is locked for up to 2 years. In our experience such token distribution is not only fair but also more favourable towards the contributors.
We have burned all 292,758,328 BIRD tokens that were unsold. This way ensuring that the majority of tokens are kept with in the community.
Tokens received through bounties and airdrops are less likely to be appreciated if compared with the community that supported the project from the start. That's why we are very happy that not only the number of tokens given away for bounties, airdrops and referrals were low but also that all of these tokens are divided between 7631 bounty participants.
Furthermore! We already have:
- 600 ETH worth of tokens pre-bought by our partners for Birdchain service;
- 23,047 users registered for the news and updates regarding the project;
- 7 940 excited community members registered to use Birdchain App in the first 3 days after the ICO finished.
These numbers indicated a very big interest from the public and businesses in our project and Birdchain token. However, this is only the start. From now on the second stage begins! We will have to make strategic decisions that would allow us to expand and keep the community happy!
