Tragic - Evil Teens Record/Mock Drowning Man (WARNING: DISTURBING!)
A group of teens recorded and mocked a man as he drowned, as mentioned in this article:
It has been confirmed as of yesterday that they will not be being charged, as they were not required to help. That being said, this is pathetic, imo. The fact that they didn't call 911, call out for help to other bystanders, or do anything to aid this person saddens me to the core. It shows how dark our world can be, especially in this day and age. I hope that this never happens to another person. It is important that we help each other and look out for each other; I know that if they were the man who was dying as they watched, they would pray that someone would reach out to help them in their hour of need.
THESE PEOPLE ARE PURE SCUM.
I don't mean to bring down anyone's day, but I feel it is important to use this as a lesson that if someone is in danger, it is NOT a joke. NEVER speculate on whether or not someone is going to get seriously hurt if they are in a dangerous situation and please don't be scummy enough to laugh about it. Do what's right.
What kind of kids are we raising ? I would say they will have to live with this forever, but I don't think it will bother them at all.
Yeah, the coldness in their words makes me think you might be right. I hope that they, by some miracle, have a change in conscience.

Disgusting how people can be. I would have been the first person to jump in and save this guy. Nobody deserves to die when they can be saved. I hope those kids conscience remind them of morality. @biddle

It's a problem in different areas of life as well. A man drowns and no one helps. An officer strangles a man and justice is not served. The care for life is not the same in this day and age and it's sad.
