Well I suppose if you support the Greater Israel project then you would find Israels position favorable.
If you don't however, then you would know that this isn't going to bring stability to the region, on the contrary.
No I think it's just one nation that understands what genocide looks like and supports another nation for independence. And to be honest I find Israel's position of allowing woman, religion, freedom of speech, AND democracy better than what is currently offered by most countries in the area.
A previous article was written pointing out that the Kurds assisted in past genocides themselves. As I'm learning myself, Kurdish history is as nuanced as any other group.
