what is happened today may Kenya cause blood shed. I do not know how to pray bat have been forced to because when things happen this way they kill our bother and sisters. It is the common people who die.

The fact that Kenyan politic is rotating around tribalism the fighting is going to cause a general side. People kill them selves with because of tribe differences like what happened in Rwanda.

Kenya did have a good reputation of being the most stable in East Africa before the controversial general election of December 27, 2007, it took little account of Kenya's recent political history.

Every election since the establishment of a multi-party system in 1991 witnessed widespread violence.

That violence is linked to long-standing grievances and failures of governance that run deeper than electoral politics.

Kenya has a widespread corruption and systemic abuse of office by public officials that has resulted in a situation in which encouraging statistics about economic growth (6.4 percent for 2007) coexist with depressing figures of crushing poverty (58 percent of the population lives on less than two US dollars a day).

The miss use of funds has left people vary poor thereby causing political riots because the poor have nothing to loose if they fight.

The current crisis in Kenya will not be resolved through power-sharing alone unless they form-let a union government because both KInyato and Odinga almost have equal voters.

Kenya tested it in 2008 and two men in the race hard any impact in the riots.

what happen today.

Kenya's Supreme Court fails to hear election bid.

The Supreme Court failed to raise quorum to hear the case on poll postponement, Chief Justice David Maraga announced today.

David Maraga said not enough of the court's seven judges were available to hear the case.

The deputy chief justice was not available after her bodyguard was shot by gunmen on Tuesday.

The BBC's Alastair Leithead in Nairobi says the election is now expected to go ahead as planned.

The Supreme Court annulled the original election in August, saying there had been "irregularities and illegalities".

Opposition leader Raila Odinga is boycotting the re-run, saying nothing has changed.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is seeking a second term, has said the ballot must go ahead.

Raila Odinga urges Kenyans to boycott 'sham' election

Kenya's opposition leader Raila Odinga has said his political alliance will be transformed into a "resistance movement", as he called on supporters to boycott a presidential election rerun scheduled for Thursday.

Odinga made the remarks on Wednesday during a speech at Nairobi's Uhuru Park, just hours after the country's electoral commission said the vote would go ahead.

"Do not participate in any way in the sham election. Convince your friends, neighbours and everyone else to not participate," he told supporters in the Kenyan capital.
