BREAKING : Shooting around the Christmas market in the center of Strasbourg. There are victims.
An armed man opened fire in a narrow street near a Christmas market in the city center. Information about the victims is coming.
In the evening, shots were heard in the center of Strasbourg, at Grand Rue Street, near the Christmas market.
The police evacuated people from the city center and closed all the bridges leading to Grand Ile, the historical center of Strasbourg, where the shooting took place.
Witnesses heard more than 10 shots.
-"The shooter has not been neutralized and it is not known where he is" - says one of the policemans for "Le Monde".
According to the police sources of the French TV BFM TV, at least one person is dead, 9 are injured. Radio France informs about one shot person and 10 wounded.
