Microsoft will add built-in technology to the user's eyesight technology. The new technology will enable users with specific illnesses who can’t use the keyboard and mouse to use the system.

The Eye Control function works with external devices like Tobii Eye Tracker 4C. Support for this device was developed jointly by Microsoft and Tobii, with support for the Tobey Dynavox PCEye Mini, PCEye Plus, and EyeMobile Plus. Currently, Eye Control beta tests are running on the Windows 10 OS and the Windows Insider tester is getting access to it. It is possible to launch apps by briefly keeping the eye on their icons and for entering texts can use the Windows 10 on-screen keyboard, with the choice of a letter by looking at the key.

Microsoft started working in this direction in 2014. Then, the EyeGaze Wheelchair, a wheelchair-controlled wheelchair, was created. Now the technology is advanced and will be embedded in the Windows 10 OS. It is not known when the tests will be completed, but the new functionality will not appear in the big autumn update.
