Maulana Bhashani's 41st death anniversary is tomorrow
Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani's 41st death anniversary will be on Friday. He died on 1976 at the PG Hospital in Dhaka.
Later, he was laid to rest in Tangail's Santosh.
The day will be celebrated with the participation of various programs on the capital city of Dhaka including Tangail. On this occasion, various political and social organizations have taken up a detailed program. Among the programs, Shantosh has paid tribute to his shrine and discussion meeting.
On the occasion of the anniversary, President Md. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages.
In his message, the President of Bhasani expressed the hope that the new generation will be inspired by the spirit of patriotism and liberation war.
The Prime Minister said in her Banani, Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani has struggled for life in the form of exploitation and deprivation and progressive, democratic and non-communal Bangladesh. Maulana Bhashani was born on December 12, 1880 in Dhangaon village of Sirajganj. Though born in Sirajganj, Maulana Bhasani spent most of his life on Santosh Santosh Tangail.
He was involved in politics from his adolescence. He was the President of Bangla-Assam Province Muslim League for a long time.
Maulana Bhashani has struggled and fought for the liberation of oppressed and oppressed people of the country. He was one of the main leaders of the United Front in 1954. The BSS representative from Tangail said that the local administration, Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology, Awami League, BNP, Jatiya Party and various political parties, educational institutions, social and cultural organizations will pay wreaths to all the people, including the local administration, to pay tribute to Majlum Jannata Abdul Hamid Khan Vashani's shrine. On the occasion of the anniversary, Maulana Vashani's followers and Muriadans started coming to the satisfaction of the day before the anniversary of the death anniversary.
