Good for them. Funny the Russians go everywhere offering nuclear plants except in the only country that made them get back their position in the global set which is Syria and which needs this energy now more than anybody else. One would argue that those countries can pay back the nuclear investment, but history and facts tell otherwise.
Your right. However, in case of syria, I would like to add, not only Russia but all big powers must come together to restore it back to life.
also Egypt will be extracting natural gas by next year which will cut off energy costs and thus alleviate the nuclear power plant expenses and will be enough to export to other countries like Syria for example ...
historically Egypt and Syria have been very close and the environment for a second Union project could be a savior once again for both countries since the dissolution in 1961 I believe...
No way the Russians gonna construct a nuclear plant without a political settlement not only in Syria but also in Iraq
These are more political interests rather than economics
I read an article sometime ago that said Syria will need roughly 1 trillion dollars and 20 years to get back at pre 2011
The whole world must contribute not only the big powers...
