Turkish military convoy spotted in Urfa en route to Syrian border

A convoy of military vehicles was spotted in Urfa on Saturday as it headed towards the Syrian border.

Soldiers can be seen standing near trucks with tanks on their trailers as they pull out and continue their journey from Kilis towards the border.

The SAA is planning to enter the northern Syrian city of Manbij, close to the border with Turkey, following a request from the Kurdish YPG for it to protect the location.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that he would seek to conduct operations in Manbij and northern Syria east of the Euphrates.
