Citing a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Arabic-language version of the Sputnik News Agency said the militant claims of several Russian soldiers being killed in an ambush behind enemy lines were untrue. On Wednesday, the Turkish-backed National Liberation Front alleged that several soldiers from the Russian Special Forces were killed during a botched mission in the Jabal Al-Zawiyah region of Idlib. Ansarallah forces launch offensive along Saudi-Yemeni border

According to the media wing of the Ansarallah forces, their troops captured a number of sites inside of the Asir region after overrunning the Saudi garrisons and checkpoints near the Yemeni border. Syrian Army attacks jihadist stronghold in northeastern Latakia

Using artillery and surface-to-surface missiles, the Syrian Army's 4th Armored Division has repeatedly pounded the defenses of Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party around the town of Kabani. Syrian Army gives Aleppo militants ultimatum to leave de-escalation zone

Northern Hama: militants' 'underground' city exposed: Video

The underground city beneath al-Lataminah town was used by Islamist militants to avoid being spotted and targeted by the government forces. Erdogan vows to 'open the gates' to Europe for Syrian refugees if EU doesn't help
