Syrian Air Force launches unprecedented amount of airstrike over Douma

BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:55 P.M.) - The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) launched a large number of airstrikes over Douma, today, hitting several areas under the control of Jaysh Al-Islam inside the town.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Air Force conducted dozens of airstrikes over Douma in a bid to pressure Jaysh Al-Islam to return to the negotiations table.

Today's attack by the Syrian Air Force is considered the largest aerial assault on Douma this year.

The Syrian Air Force restarted their bombing campaign over Douma after talks broke down between Jaysh Al-Islam and the Russian Reconciliation Center.
