Putin meets with Pashinyan in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with newly-elected Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Moscow on Thursday.

“I would like to wish you success, luck in implementing the plans you have made for yourself and your team for the sake of Armenia and its people,” Putin said.

The prime minister on his part invited the Russian leader to visit to Armenia and noted that the country is ready to deepen its integration with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

Pashinyan’s party My Step Alliance won nearly 71 percent of the vote in Armenia's parliamentary elections on December 9.
