Gaza death toll now 49: Two Palestinians killed by Israeli snipers

DAMASCUS, SYRIA (7:00 P.M)- Two more Palestinians have been shot dead along the Gaza/Israel border taking the death toll, since the start of the non-violent 'Great Return March' on the 30th of March, to 49.

Twenty three year old, Bahaa Abdel Rahman Qadih and twenty year old, Mohammed Ahmed Abu Rida, were killed by Israeli troops as the two young men approached the Israeli border fence in southern Gaza.

The Israeli regime maintains that the two unarmed men were terrorists and that they were seeking to commit acts of terror against the state after "infiltrating" the border nearest to Khan Yunis (Southern Gaza Strip).

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, approximately 8000 Palestinians have been injured since the beginning of the 'Great Return March', no Israelis have been injured.
