BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:20 A.M.) - Minutes ago, the U.S. military announced that one of their fighter jets had crashed in the Sea of Japan near the island of Okinawa.

According to preliminary reports, the F-15 jet was flying just south of Japan before it crashed 80 km off the coast of Okinawa.

The pilot allegedly ejected before the plane crashed; however, the condition of the pilot is still unknown.

No further details have been released.
