BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) - Austrian President Dr. Alexander Van Der Bellen and his wife Doris Schmidauer arrived in Beirut this afternoon to begin their state visit, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.

According to the NNA report, the Austrian President and his wife arrived in Beirut at approximately 1:15 P.M. (local time); they are scheduled to spend four-days inside Lebanon.

Their first visit will be with Lebanese President Michel 'Aoun at his palace in Ba'abda.

The Austrian President will then meet with Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri and Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
