A Man Arrested For Stalking Member of Idol Group HKT48

Fukuoka provincial police have just arrested a man on Sunday on charges of violating stalker law. The man allegedly happy to roam around the housing members of the group idol HKT48, who was 18 years old.

According to police reports, the 44-year-old is suspected and named Yoshio Arata. She lives in area 2 of Baikouen area in Chuo, Fukuoka. From May 29 to June 22, he was alleged to have acted like a stalker, such as driving his vehicle slowly around the idol's house. The family of idol members also claimed to have seen Arata pick up the family's discarded garbage on May 29th that made them call the police.

According to the police, Arata said that if he "continues through his house, then they can meet face." Arata is also suspected to have followed the handshake event with HKT48 for 3 years. The idol himself confirmed that he had seen Arata at the nearest station several times.
