Five Kenya Defence (KDF) soldiers have been killed, after terror group al-Shabaab attacked their convoy in Garissa County. The Kenyan soldiers were traveling in a convoy between Galmagala and Hulugho area. The soldiers are reported to have been killed, after their vehicle hit an explosive device planted on the road.
According to sources, heavy gunfire and explosions were heard during the attack. Terror group al-Shabaab in a statement, said it had launched three ambush attacks on Kenyan soldiers in Garissa. The group claimed it killed five Kenyan soldiers and destroyed a military vehicle.
