Many people often wonder: what is the constitutional role of Queen Elizabeth? The recent Grenfell Fire is a good example: for some unknown reasons, Prime Minister Theresa May refused to meet with the fire victims. Queen Elizabeth, as the head of state transcendent of politics, spent half an hour at the site meeting survivors.
