The United States Announces Exit From UN Human Rights Council
It's a plain fact that the United Nations has consistently shown a hard bias against Israel at every opportunity for several years. It's also a fact that the Israeli government is far from innocent or honest, a fact which several of ABN's staff can attest to after personal experience.

The Israeli people must reserve the right to defend themselves, as the UN proves they have many enemies. The Trump Administration says it's this anti-Israel bias that necessitates America's withdrawal from the UN Human Rights Council. The decision has been officially announced by Ambassador Nikki Haley on Wednesday.

Some say this will create a void which will be filled by enemies of Israel, and that the US has forfeited it's mitigating voice and leverage toward Israel's defense. That might be true, but it may also be true that this withdrawal allows the Trump Admin. to move more freely and apply its still-massive leverage in different ways.
