"Potentially Hazardous Asteroid" Will Bring Hundreds of Meteors in December

in #news7 years ago

Recent News articles state "apocalyptic space rocks" will light up Earth's sky in December.

Posted in the International Congregation of Lord RayEl earlier this morning by the Imperial Regent, Angelus Domini, the Daily Star article states that the object "3200 Phaethon", discovered back in 1983, will come very close to Earth next month with a lightshow.

This odd "space rock" and was first classified as a comet because of its cyclical orbit around the sun and how it brought meteors along with it, but it has now been classified as an asteroid since it was discovered it is not made of ice. An interesting "fun fact" about asteroids was stated in the article as well:

Asteroids are small, rocky objects that orbit the Sun. The first asteroid was Ceres, discovered by Giuseppe Piazzi in 1801. There are currently over 600,000 known asteroids in our solar system. Most asteroids are found orbiting in the Asteroid Belt, a series of rings located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.

Another special quality about this is that its orbit is the closest to the sun than any other "named asteroid." A Russian Astronomer said it will come "quite close" this year, within 10 million km. The article said:

NASA has previously described the comet as a 'potentially hazardous asteroid whose path misses Earth’s orbit by only two million miles'.
The object orbits the Earth every year and is always accompanied by the Geminid meteor shower, which will be visible as the comet crosses over us between December and 14.
Hundreds of bright meteors will illuminate the night sky as they burn up in the Earth’s atmosphere.

This was also reported by other sources such as Sputnik. There is no known fact of where this accompanied meteor shower comes from, but since 3200 Phaethon was believed to be much larger it is theorized that the asteroid "could be the residue of a comet nucleus", stated by those at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. The Astronomers think this is possible because:

...This asteroid was once a much bigger object, but its many approaches to the Sun have caused it to crumble into smaller pieces which eventually formed this meteor shower.

This makes more sense since most meteors "are caused by icy comets that spew meteoroids when heated by the sun." It is said to be about half of the size of the meteor that caused the dinosaurs to go extinct. This could be considered a "close shave" since the range is 10 MILLION KM!!

Matthew 24:29-30

But immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will darken and the moon will not show its light, and THE STARS WILL FALL FROM THE HEAVENS and the power of the heavens will be disturbed. And then the sign of The Son of Man in Heaven will appear and then all the families of the earth will mourn, and they will see The Son of Man who comes on the clouds of Heaven with miracles and many praises.
