It comes as no surprise that the IDF and Hamas are continuing to attack each other. The IDF has made the statement that "war is approaching".

“We are rapidly nearing a confrontation,” the IDF senior officer said, speaking on condition of anonymity. “Hamas is making serious mistakes, and we may have to make it clear after four years that this path doesn’t yield any results for it and isn’t worth it.”

IDF pounded Gaza on the 9th after 150 rockets were fired from Hamas since Wednesday, unfortunately, a pregnant woman and a child were among the casualties from this attack. The IDF has launched 140 attacks including air raids

"The way things continue to play out is significant. Hamas will understand in the coming hours, as in the past months, that this is not the direction it wants to choose," a senior military official was quoted as saying on the military's Twitter account.

Further, there was allegedly a ceasefire (again) declared from Hamas last night, but Israel and the IDF deny this, their public is not happy with them at all.

A few minutes later, a foreign diplomat who is involved in the talks seconded the claim. Both sides agreed to stop shooting and the understandings would take effect at midnight, he said. The Israelis were actually the ones to rush to deny the claims, in a text message sent out to reporters. “The report on a supposed cease-fire is not correct,” read the message.

The back and forth between the IDF and Hamas shows no signs of slowing down as each "ceasefire" seems to only last until Hamas has their ammo restocked. It might not be long until a full-scale war comes from these attacks. Only time will tell. Please post your comments in the replies section below.
