Iran Sanctions Revived From 2015!
Today, President Trump's administration has announced the restoration of sanctions that were previously removed from Iran through the Nuclear Deal. Eight countries will have exceptions to these sanctions that will be waivered for six months. What do they include? The sanctions will target Iran’s crude oil exports and will penalize countries that don’t stop importing oil as well as foreign companies that do business with certain Iranian entities. Even more, Trump has said he will continue to pursue even more and tougher sanctions to dump on Iran!
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin made the announcement Friday. They say sanctions will remain until Iran meets demands that include ending support for terrorism, ending military engagement in Syria and completely halting its nuclear and ballistic missile development.
These sanctions will go into effect on Monday, I guess it's true that President Trump has gone absolutely crazy with sanctions, as with North Korea, he doesn't seem to be backing down from Iran. Mr. Trump is hoping to hype these sanctions as well, as it seems he tweeted about this in a style similar to Game of Thrones, and no, this isn't that fake account out there!

Surely the man's ego is bigger than ever, but time will tell what consequences these sanctions will have down the line. Should Iran feel like they've had enough, they might just align their military with China and Russia should they war with America, but that's only speculation. Iran is already aligned with China and Russia economically and Militarily. Trump threated their greatest economic ally Saudi Arabia with sanctions which will only ally them with Iran or another country that can support them.
That picture is so fitting.
Interesting that it would be announced in such a manner, I would think that it would just further piss off Iran, or maybe that's the intention, with a total lack of respect.
