How to use this #newmapsters forum to request joining MAP or AAKOM
If you are reading this, then you are probably within the #newmapsters sub-forum and have probably come here from either the MAP signup page or the AAKOM signup page.
This post is just to clarify what happens next!

- -Firstly, make sure you post a "signup request". This must be within this forum and be a new post - do not just reply to this or any other post as your comment may not be read.
Make the title of your post something like "Request to join MAP by @yourusername" or "Request to join AAKOM by @yourusername". It is important to see your username so that every post title looks different. Existing MAP members can add comments and upvotes
If you have been accepted, you will receive an invitation code to our private Discord server (the chatroom) and you are free to post and comment within the MAP forum (on chainBB).
Once you are in the MAP-AAKOM chat server, please make yourself known - say "Hi!" and explain you have just joined. This is important so that an admin or mod can upgrade you to the status of New Mapster. Then you will have access to every channel within the server.
You may then also use the #aakom tag and #mapsters tag to start a discussion within the MAP forum. One of these must be the first tag used and you can still add four more tags for greater visibility within Steemit.
