Today I will be bring to you my achievement 2 which is on base security on steemit .I will be using the achievement 2 task questions to explain my understanding of security in steemit.
Question 1. How you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Yes I have a Pdf copy of my steem keys on hard paper also saved the keys in my computer, email and on a USB device.
Question2. Do you know each of these key function and restrictions?
Yes I know these keys, there are four keys which I will explain below.

1. Posting key
   The posting key allows accounts to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, and follow or mute other accounts. Most users should be logging into Steemit every day with the posting key. You are more likely to have your password or key compromised the more you use it so a limited posting key exists to restrict the damage that a compromised account key would cause. This key is used for every day logins.
2. Private Memo Key
   Used to decrypt private transfer memos.
3. Active key
   The active key is meant for more sensitive tasks such as transferring funds, power up/down transactions, converting Steem Dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details and avatar, and placing a market order
4. Owner key
   The owner key is only meant for use when necessary. It is the most powerful key because it can change any key of an account, including the owner key. Ideally it is meant to be stored offline, and only used to recover a compromised account, use this key to recover it within 30 days at https://steemitwallet.com.
   Question 3. How do you plan to keep your master password?
   I have save my master password on and offline. Offline in devices and hard paper and online in my email and cloud account.
   The master password
   The master password is used to drive all keys for your account including the owner key .if somebody has access to your master password, they can steal your account and all of the tokens in it. The master key is long and random for maximum security
   There is no way to recover your account if you lose your password or owner key! Because your account has real value, it is very important that you save your master password somewhere safe where you will not lose it.
   Question4. DO you know how to transfer you steem token to another steem user account?
   Yes I can transfer steem token to another user using my active key

• I click on my wallet , login to my steem wallet using the private active key

• Click on the drop down button on steem
• Click on transfer

• Fill in my account name and the other user name am to transfer steem to in the next line below then the amount am sending below in the next line

• Then click on next to complete the transfer
Question 5. Do you know how to power up your steem?
Yes I do know how to power up my steem
• First I will click on my wallet using my private activate key to login to my wallet

• Click on steem after logging in select power up

• Fill in the required information that is the account user name , the amount then click on power up
