Hello everyone, I welcome you all to my blog, l was excited when my achivement 2 was verified and approved, l know that l have the opportunity to write about my achivement 3 , which is focusing on the community Etiquette

In every organization, there is a rule and regulations that guided it , it is the same way in steemit , there's etiquette that covered the ecosystem. That is , what is not expected of me in this platform.

WHAT IS ETIQUETTE?
This can be defined as a set of rules or custom that controls accepted behavior in a particular social group or social situations.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
This is an act of presenting someone else work as your own, it also involves using words, ideas, or information from a source without including citations.

✓ TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

✓ COMPLETE OR GLOBAL PLAGIARISM.
This is type of Plagiarism in which an individual download a whole material in internet, and pretend to be his or her original work.
To avoid this, it is my determination to write what l know and what l understand about that particular content. Be original.

✓PARAPHRASING PLAGIARISM

From this research l realised that if you lift an idea from a source material and then use synonyms to switch the words and rephrase the sentences. In most cases, Note this such documents still retain its original structure, writing style and"artistic signature's"
To avoid this it is my determination to make sure that l understand the slim line between reading someone else material for inspiration and actually copying the material.

✓SELF PLAGIARISM
self plagiarism is repeating if you reuse your own work such that you receive praise or reward more than once for the same work in different publications.

✓VEBERTIM PLAGIARISM

This is actually copy and paste work ,in other words this has to do with directly copying someone else’s idea without proper citation.

WAY TO AVIOD PLAGIARISM

It is easy and simple through proper quotations and citations

Quotations is simple is the repetition of a sentence, phrase, or passage from speech or text that someone has said or written.

Then Citation is defined as "...the way you tell your readers that certain material in your work came from another source. It also gives your readers the information necessary to find that source..."

In this post l have use this.

✓Quotation marks

Simple use quotations marks to derived contest or borrow content , showing where the quotation start and where it stops.

✓Square brackets
Use square brackets to indicate that this words are inserted in this context.

✓Introduction
Don't just dump someone's word in to your work, use an introductory sentence or phrase that helps a reader appreciate why the quotation is used.

✓Paraphrasing
Do not use too many direct quotes, try Paraphrasing some with their citations.

✓Use blockquote
When a quotation is long, four or more lines, up to a paragraph or two. It is best to use a blockquote, they are easy to identify with the indentification it carries.
Especially someone name at last.
