Joining steemit!
Hi, I am so excited to join steemit and the steem platform in its early stages. I just discovered about it and took my decision to join. This could be the next social media and financial revolution!
What I am going to do next is to find out if any of my friends are here. I would also like to learn more about the platform and explore and find people to follow. I would appreciate any tips and suggestions.
I am Ibrahim Hossain, an engineering and project management professional in medical device industry. I live and work in Finland. I am also a husband and father of a toddler boy and a baby girl. I love sports especially squash, basketball, and running.

Do read all the information on the drop down menu top right under your profile image. There is a lot to take and I still refer back to this information to learn more about Steemit and how it works.

Don't forget to read up on "keys" & passwords.
Basically don't log in with your "master key"
Use your private posting key.
TL;DR: You should have ALREADY saved your PASSWORD that was used to generate your keys
Next go to Profile >Wallet > Permissions and copy paste all FIVE keys to a safe place.
(eg a text file on a memory stick)
The “OWNER” key is the ‘master key’, keep it VERY safe
Daily logins for posting should use your Private POSTING key.
Once you have copies saved, log out and log back in with USERNAME & your POSTING key

Thanks! I just saved all my keys.
No probs. Passwords are used to generate FIVE keys
If you ever think your keys are compromised, just generate a new password & re create the keys
Keep copies off line, in case your hard drive fails
Use the private POSTING key to log in daily (unless your transferring your millions!)
Hackers lurk, Ddos & virus attacks happen!
