Introducing Myself to the Steemit Community

Hello, fellow Steemians,

I'm Andreea, AKA AndreeaSmash and I am a creator of worlds.

I just discovered the Steemit community this morning and it immediately got me excited to be part of it. I think this platform is a genius idea and I look forward to sharing my creations with you and seeing what you all are sharing in turn.

I live in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. I haven't always lived here, in fact, half my life I was a Torontonian and I did a lot of my growing up there.

I went to College in Toronto and attended the Animation program at Seneca College of Art and Design. The years I spent at Seneca were super insightful. I learned a lot about animation, the science of movement, and art in general, and got to meet people from all over the world. But, more about this in a later post ;)

Fast forward a few years (I dare you to guess my age), and I'm back in my hometown, raising a kid that's turning 7 this year > time flies when you're having fun, and working remotely in various content creation roles.

My son Zenith, AKA Zen, was actually born in the UK. So, as you can guess, I've traveled to quite a few places in my life and will definitely write more about the amazing places I've seen and the wonderful people I've met along the way.

For now, here's a photo of Zen and me just being silly, which is one of our favorite things to do together.

Zen takes after me and he's extremely talented and interested in drawing. Of course, this makes me very happy and I've started teaching him about the fundamentals of drawing and soon he'll be ready to start understanding more complex concepts of traditional animation too. We'll be sharing our creations here with you and we'd love to read your thoughts on our posts. Also, if you want to learn with us, have questions about our art, or are just curious to start your own process of creation, don't hesitate to get in touch. We love connecting with people from all around the world and we love sharing our knowledge.

Aside from creating art we are huge outdoors fans and love to take bike rides in the nearby parks. We're super lucky to have a lot of green space near where we live. So we take advantage of this every chance we get.

We also love going to the beach, climbing trees, and bouldering at the climbing gym. We try out new sports all the time and we're really getting into Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu lately. Next stop, circus class. Yep! You read that right! We're looking forward to signing up for circus classes > we'll make sure to let you know all about it in a later post ;)
