Today's short pondering in form of a 100 word story
ORIGIN
And he who made the heavens wished to recycle the clipping, left from creating the sky. So he squished them and placed them near a star so they could cook. Soon beings sprouted and began toiling in the mush — and he saw it was good. For indeed the compost cooked. But soon sentience sprouted from the heap and it was not long before manny of the beings, digging in the mud, began to build heavens of their own. He knew they would soon forget the dirt, from which they came, but stoped to think, if he had done the same.
Does the Universe questions it's own actions and decisions? That is an interesting question. If we are all really microcosms of the macro, I would imagine the answer is yes. Thanks for giving me something to meditate on this morning.
@kopusmellini Thank you, glad to!
I do think the universe does not support a hive mind, dispersed into billions of sentient beings all-over the galaxy, but such a fundamental question does have an abundance of arguments:). But I was going for the idea of what it means to be god or to think one is god. If you have all basic needs like food, shelter and copulation covered, you don't think about them so much as needs. And when you have satisfied all the higher urges, you slowly but steadily progress in forgetting that you are still only a being that needs to eat, excrete, copulate. And the question I posed was only what would god do, when confronted by the reality that he himself frowned upon the human idea of heaven, yet he, no differently, made his own.
When all needs are met. The simplicity of our existence can be a little daunting. Yet we still persist.
