Steemit for newbies.

Because there are a lot newbies on steemit i want to give an quick overview of all the features steemit got.

The most known is the Upvote-button.

Its the arrow on the left side of the POTENTIAL payouts.
If the arrow is blue you upvoted already.
If you upvote it should add some SBD. It depends on your steempower how much your upvote counts.

@tuvokhl is the author in this case.

The 58 in the circel is the reputation of the author.
New people start with under 30 and over 70 are the best.
60-70 is already hard to get.

On the right side of the first image you see the count of the votes.
This includes up- and DOWN!-votes.

The downvote-button:

Is a little flag on the upper right side of an article or comment.
If you hit this button the value of the post gets decreased.
If you got a lot of steempower you are also able to downvote a article or comment to invisibility!

But like this the article can still be read by all its just hidden a little bit.
There are a lot of discussions about useing downvote.
But for me the most important is that everybody can regulate the value of an post with this feature.

When you upvote a comment and it adds some value the comment will "fly" higher in the comment section and people will read earlier.

On the "Reply"- button you can leave a comment.
The "edit" button only appears when you open your own post or comment.
With this button its possible to change the article if you did some mistake.
Then it also tells how many people wrote a comment.
And there are also the sharing buttons.

One important button is the resteem button:

Its on the bottom right side also.
When you hit this the article gets posted by you again and your followers can see this article in their "feed"

So for me the most important is maybe the RESTEEM.
