Hi @lolomarie and welcome to Steemit! I've been here for less than a week and am really enjoying all of the new content. Best advice I have is to learn the best tags for the best post exposure (you can Google tags for Steemit and it comes up with all of the tags and how many posts for each tag). And definitely tag this first post with the introducemyself or introduceyourself tag, it makes a huge difference!
