Come say hello to the new guy!

Hello everyone!

My name is Ty Boyland and I couldn't be more honored to be on a platform with so many creative and talented minds. For the better part of 20 years I have been a music producer, songwriter and sound engineer. I am originally from Memphis, TN, but have lived all over including New York, Miami, Atlanta, London, and Barbados. I am currently the Senior Fellow with the Memphis Music Initiative in which I develop music and technology based curriculum for top educational organizations in Memphis such as Stax, Knowledge Quest, CLOUD901, Grizzlies Prep and more. I am a voting member of NARAS which hosts the Grammy's. Aside from music, I co-own and operate an indoor farm that grows microgreens and educate communities on how to grow sustainably and the health benefits associated with eating vegetables grown before reaching full maturity.

It is my hope to add value to this great platform by sharing my experiences in life and business. My posts will mostly be about motivation, inspiration, multiple streams of revenue, and urban agriculture, but won't be limited to those subjects. I believe strongly in the concept of giving and find it rewarding to serve approximately 400 black and brown youth on a weekly basis as an educator and mentor. To see change, we must create it. I hope that my posts can inspire some amazing conversations on how we can improve within ourselves and then have that progress flow outward.
