Hello everyone this is my first time to blog and for now I am still trying to figure out how things work in here. I have read the terms and conditions but have not fully understand it. I am trying to learn how the css and html works in here, how to write a blog and how this whole system works. Advance thanks for everyone who can help me out and tell me the basics here. What I know now is that you must have an original post and credit images you will use in your blog.

But first let me introduce myself first. Yes, that is me on the picture. My name is Jeff and I am currently studying right now. I am taking up AB Theology at Kings College of the Philippines. And yes, I also live in the Philippines. I am here because I am hoping to maybe earn some little income for my study so please forgive me for my bad English grammar :D Also I am hoping to make some friends here. I hope I can improve my English grammar by blogging here. Nice to meet you everyone!

P.S. Please do not forget to give me tips and basics on how things work out here by dropping a comment. Thank you and I deeply appreciate your help :D

Honestly your grammar's not that bad, I've seen much worse. Most CSS code doesn't work within the posts but they keep adding to the HTML5 support.

My favorite resource for HTML tags. A lot of these don't work here but the more basic and popular ones do.

Look here for Unicode symbols. All you have to do is click on the symbol you want copy and paste the html code it gives you and boom, your done!

Looks like you already know the H1 tags.

Bold
<b>text</b>
Italic (emphasize)
<em>text</em>
Super Text (can be stacked)
Text
Strike-out
<del>text</del>
Paragraph
<p>text</p>
Anchor tag (text link)
<a href="Website Address Goes here">text for the link goes here</a>
Images
<img alt="Image description for search engines" src="http://www.YourImageLink.here" />

I hope this helps. Welcome to Steemit!

Thanks I didn't know html tags worked here i was using double ** for bold from Markdown (recommended by steemit). Using html tags works better for me because I used them before. Thanks a lot for helping

I'm just not a fan of markdown languages. Search engines such as google and yahoo don't see them correctly. Plus when using html tags you can format things a little better (in my opinion).

I also believe html tags are better for formatting :D .Thanks again for sharing this.

welcome to Steemit xtiming :)
