China has not built a bridge across the river, and the river / В Китае построили мост не через реку, а вдоль реки
Most recently, in Hubei Province, China built a new bridge, which is called China's first "ecological highway." Chetyrehkilometrovoy bridge runs right along the bed of the river. Its specially constructed so as not to cut down the forest.
I wonder how much it wrecked this river ecosystem. I really want to believe they tried to do as small harm as possible when erecting this pillars. But on other hand it may be that everybody sees the trees but nobody will look under water so nobody cared...
Yet I think there is a little push.
