Getting Back To Basics

As often as possible I try and read from 2 of my favourite daily meditation books, and I want to share it with you.

"There are two ways to spread light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects its glow"
Each of us carries within us the power to illuminate others and light up their world. Likewise we are enlightened by others' gifts of perception. Every exchange of ideas, wonder or expression of feeling instructs and empowers us when our pre-conceived notions no longer make sense in light of new information. Only when we are rid of these old restraints are we free to grow.

It is an awesome realization that whoever or whatever engages us is purposeful, and has its place in our development at the time. Everything happens for a reason, and what we are inspired to share with another, also, fits into their scheme. The choice to be enlightened awaits us.
