As mind boggling a concept as it is, plants can read our very minds. They can influence us and shape our thoughts, responding to our emotional state of mind. The concept of this isn’t anything new. However, as time has passed, more people have been experimenting with different results.
Plants are living things too and likewise feed off different degrees of energy. Human beings give off carbon dioxide, which in turn helps plants flourish. Plants in general, need a certain degree of light and water to grow. Obviously, they do better in the most ideal conditions. Also, supplemental soils are used, to help plants grow better...

I don't think we give plants enough credit. I think they have emotional response. Have you ever talked to a plant and treated it nicely? It grows so well when you treat it like a friend :) I have 2 office plants, one is named Cletus and the other is Clovis!
Most times we forget that plants too are living things, and are in fact the most important living thing there is. You can do without eating flesh, but it is almost impossible to do without consuming plants.
So if you think it's unfair to hurt an animal because it's a living thing, but you see nothing wrong in killing a plant, then you're being unfair to our 'dearest plant' and you should come up with an apology right now, or 'dearest plant' may just decide to sue you for injustice and unfair treatment.
