Not a new initiative to bring all the parties to vote

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda said, "No new initiative will be taken for the participation of all the parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Since taking responsibility, all political parties have been asked to participate in the upcoming eleventh elections.

Responding to a question from journalists at the office of Brahmanbaria Deputy Commissioner on Thursday, Nurul Huda said, "Jatiya Party does not have confidence in the election commission. We are doing our duties fairly and honestly," said Nurul Huda. We are working neutrally. Why did he (Ershad) say so, he can give the answer.

The CEC also said that the Election Commission is working to gain the confidence of voters and political parties.

Earlier, on 11 March at the Deputy Commissioner's conference room, Nurul Huda joined the meeting on law and order organized by Brahmanbaria-1 (Nasirnagar) by-election on 13 March. Presided over by the Deputy Commissioner of Brahmanbaria Rezwanur Rahman, Election Commission Secretary Helaluddin Ahmed, Additional Commissioner of Chittagong Division (Global) Shankar Ranjan Saha, BGB Sector Commander Colonel Md. Zubair Hasnat and Additional Deputy Inspector General of Chittagong Police Mohammad Abul Fayez.
