What's an elephant got to do with it?

If there were a few people in a room gathered around an elephant...

...but they were all blind and could only touch different and specific parts of said elephant.... what if you were one of those people, and say you were sitting under the elephant's belly (lol), and were only touching (don't be a pervert now) by reaching above your head... would you describe it the same way someone who's feeling the tusks, or the trunk, or the feet?

A lot of people say that each person detains part of the truth, but not the whole truth, about religion, creation, human culture etc etc. No one group is superior than the other. However, this also supposes that the person that's claiming watching it all from the "outside the box" lens, feels somehow superior in their worldview of religions, and others. That's dangerous as well.

No one knows whether the person looking at the blind people and can see they're only touching parts of the elephant, thinking they've got it all figured out, aren't actually just as clueless... or colorblind, or whatever...

Or who knows if the elephant and all that's around it is a simulation, or a projection... as long as no one person claims they or their group somehow detains the ultimate truth, maybe everyone has a piece, or maybe no onw knows what the truth is, or there's no truth to begin with :)
