Supercell, after a while of no new information in regards to new games, it has been announced that there will be not one, but three new games coming to mobile, all of which are set within their Clash universe.

The first game announced is called: Class Quest, the game is a turn-based, tactical, adventure-strategy game where players send out their troops onto a grid-based map to fight enemies on an opposing map. The troops you set down can attack on their own however the way to ensure victory is to attack using groups of similar typed troops as they can be used in a more powerful and effective way to take down your opponents.

The games are not all being developed at the same studio however, Clash Quest is under development at the Supercell studio in Helsinki whilst the other two games are both being developed across the ocean in Shanghai. The other two games are Clash Mini, which is a mobile board game that uses miniature versions of the classic Clash of Clans characters. The second, Clash Heroes, works as a top-down action-adventure game that gives off the sort of energy of which you would find within an entry to the Diablo series!
Many Clash series fans may initially be put off of these games for the simple factor that they don't seem to look or play at all like Clash Royale or Clash of Clans in terms of how the gameplay runs, despite the design being the same. This however has been stated to be on purpose, as described by Supercell within their announcement:

What may immediately strike Clash fans is that none of these games looks much like Clash Royale or Clans in terms of play, despite aesthetic similarities. That's on purpose, wrote Supercell in an announcement today:

"These new games are nothing like prior Clash games. We want to focus on creating new ways of enjoying and playing with your favourite Clash characters while deepening the world through new environments and gameplay experiences. That last part is key - we want to offer new ways of playing Clash and hope these games add to your current gaming experience. Of course, there’s a chance you might not like these games - and that’s okay, it’s all good. We totally understand these are very different from Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. On top of offering a new Clash experience to current players, we want to broaden Clash to new audiences who haven’t experienced Clash before."

All three of the games are still in the early stages of their development, from what I can see online also, the studio seems to have a long-running tradition of cancelling their titles before they even get the chance to release, after getting to the stages even as far as an open beta. This means that we may even not end up seeing any of them as final releases. We can only hope.
