Could the strikes against Asad in Syria be the beginning of WW3

Donald Trump ordered airstrikes against the Asad government in Syria. This airstrike targeted planes and an airstrip to minimize casualties. Could this strike be the beginning of the 3rd world war. Russia and Syria are allies and the last time they asked for help Russia stepped in. The Russian government hasn't responded yet on what happened today.

    Alex Jones channel says everything is WW3 haha. Love the channel. I think this all depends on how Russia and China respond to this. People that voted for Trump got what they wanted. A no nonsense kind of a President that is not afraid to attack.
