Of course, between a private Hyperldedger and an open IOTA registry, it is possible to establish interaction, provided that everyone will be used in a suitable field.
Sonstuby described the main factors that prevent the use of traditional blockades in the world of IoT: commissions, scalability and throughput, as well as the rigidity of the infrastructure.
There are two types of participants in opened Bitchekon lockers - users and miners / validators, which means obligatory payment for transactions. Validators participate in the system only in order to earn, and as the popularity of the detachment grows, this leads to "bottlenecks" and the growth of commissions.

The second factor is scalability and throughput: 10 or even 20 transactions per second will not cover the needs of even one connected car, but in general, the real world needs will be millions and billions of connected devices, which makes the existing blockades unusable for IoT, at least in The form in which they exist now.
Finally, the third problem - the need to be constantly connected to the Internet, to synchronize with the network - an integral feature of any blockbuster.

IOTA eliminates the existing gap between users and validators on the block. In the Tangle architecture there is only one type: users are simultaneously validators. The sender of the transaction in the IOTA network is required to confirm the two previous transactions. This gives the network infinite scalability and rejection of transaction commissions. The network becomes self-regulating and self-sustaining - there is no need to give confirmation of transactions for outsourcing to any mining farm in China, as well as transactions of 0.001 cents.
In a directed acyclic graph there are no blocks, and consequently, there are no problems of their size; Therefore, transactions can be inserted into it asynchronously. The more transactions that come to the network, the faster they are processed. This is a fundamental difference from the blockbuster, in which a large number of users reduces the speed of the network.

IOTA has a tolerance to branching, which means a much higher plasticity, compared with the blockade. If the transaction is conducted in a cluster that is not connected to the Internet, and communication is carried out through any local protocol, then the integrity of this cluster will be preserved when it connects to the Internet. This makes IOTA a universal system for IoT.

IOTA transactions occur through a native IOT network token. On June 13, the Bitfinex exchange was the first to trade these tokens, and probably soon other exchanges will follow suit. However, the monetary use of IOT, at least at the current stage, is very limited.
The network was created for machines, and its consensus methods are designed for machines. At its core, it is PoW, from which the commission of the miners has been removed. Such a PoW is aimed, first of all, not at achieving consensus (in the sense of Bitcoin networks, Etherium, etc.), but on preventing the network from becoming clogged with spam. There is no justification for the IOTA consensus based on game theory at the moment. As noted in the Reddit developer of the Foundation Ethereum Nick Johnson (Nick Johnson):
Automatic tuning complexity in Bitcoin and Etherium networks is critically needed to provide protection against attack 51%. In IOTA, there is no such mechanism.
In other words, this means the following: in IOTA, each user is a miner, but it only calls when it sends transactions. In this case, a 51% double-waste attack can be a very simple task if an attacker uses hardware with higher performance than regular users: he needs to "interrupt" the weight of his transactions not all network participants, but only those who are online and conducts Transactions at the moment. Worse, the power of a conventional PC can outweigh the power of thousands of IoT devices.

IOTA technology is at the initial, mostly experimental, stage. With the beginning of its wide application there will be many problems: reliability, legal consequences, the real price of computer calculations, and so on.
Identify these problems will help the started exchange trade tokens IOT and their distribution among a wide range of users. I would just like it to happen not at the expense of participants in the crypto-currency community.
Nevertheless, with a great deal of certainty it can be argued: IOTA, as well as the Internet of things - is the future. And it will be better when there are decentralized Internet of things and blocking.
