London: Yummy food chocolate. Everybody whose child is older than the customer These popular sweet foods can be lost within the next 30 years. The reason for this is nothing, climate change.
Experts say, the main ingredient in the preparation of chocolate is the kayako tree seed. And the cacao tree needs to grow in abundance. But due to the increase in the temperature of the kayako tree, it has a huge effect.
In a news published in the British media, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has cited that it could endanger the chocolate industry in the next 30 years if temperatures rise by 2.1 centigrade. If the temperature increases, its compensation may not be possible in any rain.
In African countries like Coat d'Ivoire and Ghana, 50 percent of the world's total chocolate is produced. With these climate change issues, these countries are rapidly approaching.
Duff Hawkins, of London's research firm Hardman Agribusiness, said 90 percent of the world's total cocoa production is by small landowners. In these cases, the use of modern technology is very low.
He further said, the indications from which it is available, assume that in the next few years, the deficit in chocolate can be up to 100,000 tons per year.
