A New Startup Has Zooko and Naval Betting on Better Crypto Contracts

As announced on Monday, computer scientists Brian Warner, Bill Tulloh, Mark Miller, and Dean Tribble have started a new startup, Agoric, to develop a secure, and blockchain-agnostic programming language founded on javascript. The launching comes with a seed outlay from a notable team of supperters including Zcash Company, Naval Ravikant, and Polychain Capital the for-profit organization that controls the building of privacy-oriented cryptocurrency zcash.

Depending on the group, the language will permit programmers to code in a more secure and intuitive manner, while consenting for the kind of official verification progressions that can be a kick in smart contract testing currently.
