Written in 1998 - long read but generates it's thesis around of course the implications of technology. It had predicted things you said and even more. Even predicted the Nationalist (Trump) vs. Socialist (Hilary) pandemic the worlds in now. It predicted micro war (terrorism and ISIS). Long and tiring read that will make you feel cynical but enthused at the same time.
