A New Economy documentary review

Doc on Netflix about new economic ventures defined as participatory, regenerative, impact economy and basically built on variations of a co-op framework emphasizing equality of decision making and equity. Business types included are hotel, food, beer, tech, internet, and ethnic market in U.S. and Canada. Interviews with individuals initiating and participating in these novel enterprises as well as snipet interviews of experts in the "new economy" field, which is trying to make humane sense of broken capitalism and socialism models and instead focus on the kernels of innovation and community which should define economies. Entrepreneurs profiled include those of Sensorica and Loomio which emphasize decentralized, open source, and consensus decision making. One defining quote is "local business is our community". Other topics include rebeling against Individualism, exploring peer-to-peer, and reevaluating what "currency" and exchange should mean. Overall a good documentary exploring seeds of ideas looking to take root in the 21st century.
