Nerf overpricing

So a friend of mine loves nerf and he talked about a nerf called Nerf Rival Zeus "HIRricane" Modded blaster (85 round capacity)
And said id costs 8000 swedish crowns and 8000sek is about 950$ or 830€ so my reaction was like wtf.
Does Nerf company really think some kid will buy something that expensive?
