Nepal | Festival of Dog today
Tihar, the second biggest festival in Nepal after Dashain is being celebrated in Nepal. Today is the second day of the festival, known as Dog Tihar. On this day, dogs are worshipped by the Hindu people.
Hindu regards the dog as the messenger of Yama who is God of death. TThe dog has been a friend to people from ages and Hindu people worship them once every year for being the most faithful friend to them. On this day, people worship dog with tika and garland and provide delicious food.
