NEOXIAN CITY PHOTO CHALLENGE - WEEK : #13 - LAKE KHON KAEN.
When i visit Thailand i often end up in the city of Khon Kaen which is a city in the north-northeast of Thailand about 450 kilometers from Bangkok city , Khon Kaen is one of the four major cities of Isan and a very beautiful city many foreigners have married Thai girls from this province and are living here.
Khon Kaen city is known for it's beautiful temples and shrines , it's day and night markets and also has a great night life but more known for it's rice farms a big percentage of rice that is grown here is exported to other countries.
What i love best is visiting the big huge Khon Kaen lake which is situated in the middle of the city it's a place you can get away form all that city traffic and relax , there are many food vendors along the lake where you can sit down enjoy a great traditional Thai meal and a couple of cold beers and wait for that every evening magical sunset to reflect across the lake it's like looking at two worlds at the same time always a spectacular show.
