Imam ash Shafi'i Rahimahullah, he had a will:

"Later in the end of the world there will be many Ulama 'who confuse the ummah, so that the confused people to distinguish and choose which of Ulama' Warosatul Anbiya '(the successor of the prophet) and which ulama' suu '(evil) that misleads the people."

So Imam Shafi'i Rahimahullah continued:

"Seek 'Ulama' who is most hated by unbelievers and hypocrites, and make him a 'Ulama' who guides you, and keep the clerics' close to the unbelievers and munafiq because he will lead you away, away from the reverence of God."

Sufyan bin 'Uyainah Rahimahullah one of the Ulema' Salaf said:

"If at the end of the age you find discord among the people, then it is obligatory for you to hold the Ulama Fatwa 'AHLUTS TSUGHUR"

What is the Ahluts Tsughur?

Ahluts Tsughur is the Ahlul Jihad, the Ulama 'who are on the fronts of Jihad.

From Abu Dzar RadhiyAllahu Anhu, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "There is something I fear my Ummah beyond the Dajjal is a misguided Ulama who is misleading."

Thabit bin Yazid has told us Hilal Ibn Khabbab, he said: "I once asked Sa'id bin Jubair: O Abu Abdullah, what are the signs of human destruction ?, then he replied: 'If their' ulama 'have been corrupted'".
